This set contains seven titles featuring the popular fictional air pilot, James Bigglesworth, nicknamed "Biggles" and created by World War One pilot Captain W. E. Johns.In 1954, The Thames Publishing Co. republished a set of Biggles books under their 'Kingston Library' series, with 'Biggles of 266' being published a year later in November 1955.All works are undated. Tide marks and paper residue to the boards of 'Black Peril'. Sunning to the spine head of 'Condor' and general fading to the spines of 'Black Peril'. Most dust wrappers are very smart. With marks to the wraps. Instances of chipping to the wraps of 'Black Peril' and 'Pioneer Air Fighter'. Closed tear to the tail of 'Camel Squadron'. With tape to the edges of the wrap of 'Pioneer Air Fighter'. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with light offsetting to the endpapers of '266'.
