This item can best be described as VG+/VG. Exterior: except for slight bumps on head and heel of spine, this could almost pass as a new book (see photo of front panel!) Interior: a very calligraphic 1930 inscription on FFEP--and that is the only writing in the book; there are no stains, no marks, only lightly tone pages that are flexible and very firm hinges. Jacket: closed 1" tear at top of front fold, 1-1/4" closed tear at top of front gutter with folds onto top of front panel; 3/4" tear with folds at bottom of front panel; 2-1/4" closed tear at bottom of front gutter; small chips at corners and at base of spine (see photo--it looks better than this description gives it credit for).
