A generally VG+ bright clean set in handsome bindings with only some minor light marks. Ex Libris the Earl of Rosebery, The Durdans, Epsom, with the Earl's fine blindstamp to each title-page together with his fine black morocco Durdans bookplate to upper pastedown of each volume. This is the scarce complete four volume set published over eleven years (Jisc Library Hub Discover, formerly COPAC, lists only 10 complete sets), with Vol I and II covering England and Wales, Vol. III covering Scotland and Vol.IV covering Ireland.
