A reference copy of an 8vo hardcover in no dust jacket (if issued). Blue cloth covers with gilt spine lettering and the U.S. Military Academy crest in gilt on the upper board. On the positive side the contents (xi + 1447 pp.) are fully legible and complete with no loose pages. On the other hand there is significant water damage to the rear of the book. This damage includes staining to the lower board and half of the spine, The covers are also no longer colorfast so handling this book will produce blue hands. Internal damage includes an open rear hinge and numerous pages near the rear of the book have some light riffling and staining to their edges.
