Artikelbeschreibung des Verkäufers

An ORIGINAL early 18th Century sewn pamphlet. Complete. Possibly disbound, but could have been published 'as is'. It does state after the Printer's details - "For the Benefit of the Poor". Generally very good, but with light browning and splitting at the spine, most pages loose, and a slightly ragged edge to the blank fore-edge of page 1. The Third Edition. 8vo. 16 pp including the covers. Published by Her Majesty's Special Command. Pages lightly toned with age. Ofspring Blackall was Chaplain in Ordinary to her Majesty. Blackall who died in 1716 was a Cambridge man, opponent of Toland on Scripture, Boyle lecturer, somewhat of non-juring sympathy. This sermon before the Queen is based on Matt.5.3. See Images. ; 000015; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.
