A SECOND CHANCE? Blue Moon: A very rare occurrence of a second full moon in a month’s time. With Noble gone, all Lyris wants is time to mourn her loss, and somehow manage taking care of her and Noble’s newly adopted twins. Life insists that she defend her position as Head Elderess, tries to kidnap her children to get to her, and expects her to live a normal life when normal life was seventy plus years with her best friend and lover Noble. With Abram’s charge dead, the Head of Trinity Operations seeks to protect Lyris to fill the gap that Noble’s death left. It would be easy if Lyris didn’t insist she was fine all by herself, and her wounded soul didn’t lash out at anyone just trying to get close enough to help. Can they possibly have a chance at being together?

C. Michelle Jefferies is a writer who believes that the way to examine our souls is to explore the deep and dark as well as the shallow. To manipulate words in a way that makes a person think and maybe even second guess. Her worlds include suspense, urban fantasy, and an occasional twist of steampunk. When she is not writing, she can be found on the yoga mat, hand binding journals, dyeing cloth, and serving ginger tea. The author and creator divides her time between stories, projects, and mothering four of her seven children on the wild and windy plains of Wyoming.
