Textblock split; pages intact and textblock appears firm; hinges fairly strong. Pages have instances of light foxing, also smudges. Instances of pencil underlining throughout text. Previous bookstore writing to cover endpaper. Color plates have retained their vibrancy, with some having intact tissue guards. Good. (cover board bent/creased; interior cracked; cover endpaper has matching tanned line from crack. boards scuffed, scratched & spotted. spine sunned; top torn & frayed, binding visible. top portion of front cover hinge cracked. frontis detached; laid-in).
