Beschreibung
Harold Sutton Palmer was a British landscape painter. A R Hope Moncrieff was a prolific Scottish writer whose work varied from these travelogues to medieval and historical works. In wonderful condition, this has a blue pictorial cover with thistles and heather surmounted by gilt lettering with matching decorative spine. Foxing to the edges and minor foxing within, but the plates are clean although the occasional overlay has some foxing or spots. Very Good Condition: 8vo: blue pictorial boards with this in two shades of green and heather in similar colors: gilt lettering of title, author and painter in the middle: spine matching with thistles below and gilt lettering above: inscription inside on free endpaper: minor foxing, some toning: Color Plates after paintings by Harold Sutton Palmer: text by A.R.
