'The life of Thomas Job (1812-1890), who was born in Llanpumsaint, Carmarthenshire, Wales to Daniel Job (1767-1851) and Mary Davis (d. 1853). He married Hannah Daniels (1829-1892) in Wales in 1848. They had three children. Thomas Job emigrated from Liverpool, England on board "Golconda", which sailed on Feb. 4. 1854 and arrived in New Orleans on March 18, 1854. During this voyage he met another emigrant, Elizabeth Davies (1835-1915) and later on Aug. 18. 1855 married her. They had ten children. In 1856 his first wife Hannah came to America. Thomas and his families lived in Utah. Before emigrating Thomas had joined the LDS Church in 1851, but was excommunicated with his wife Elizabeth c.1863-1864. At that time they lived in Spanish Fork Ward. Later in 1864 they were baptized into the RLDS Church.'
