Nicole Saint-Clair earned a Bachelors degree in Journalism in 1985, and a Masters degree in Management in 1992. She believes the theme of her life since 2012 has ultimately become Proverbs 3:5. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding." God is directing her down this current path as author and advocate against sexual violence in its many forms.

With a 25-year career in marketing, she has enjoyed creating and writing television commercials, radio commercials and print ads over the years. She also worked for many years with Jostens Printing and Publishing, throughout fifteen counties in North Carolina, to help students and teachers capture memories to produce their annual yearbook publications - from elementary to medical school level.

Nicole also had a brief stint as editor of a local newspaper, an entertainment guide to local events around rural North Carolina.

Nicole has a passion for the arts, and currently serves as Board President for a local non-profit performing arts organization. She enjoys performing with the local community theatre and singing in the Catholic Church choir.

She has a passion for animals too, and serves on the Board of Directors for a regional Humane Society.

Nicole previously served on the board of directors for a rape crisis center for over a decade. After suffering from an episode of PTSD in 2012, caused by a series of personal traumatic events associated with sexual violence, she wrote "Broken Sand Dollar - Finding The Missing Peace."

Nicole has been married for over twenty years, and has lived in several towns throughout the Carolinas. This is her first book, based on true events about her personal life.
