Throughout his adult life, His Majesty King Charles III has dedicated himself to charitable causes, including environmental protection and sustainable development. He launched the Terra Carta, his vision for a new contract between nature, people, and the planet, in early 2021.

Christopher Lloyd is a world history author, educator, and lecturer. His books include What on Earth Happened? The Complete Story of Planet, Life and People from the Beginning of Time to the Present Day (Bloomsbury 2008) and Absolutely Everything! A History of Earth, Dinosaurs, Rulers, Robots and Other Things Too Numerous to Mention (What on Earth Books 2018). Most recently he edited the Britannica All New Kids' Encyclopedia: What We Know and What We Don't (Britannica Books 2020). It's Up to Us has been written in collaboration with The Prince's Foundation, which provides holistic solutions to the challenges facing the world today and champions a sustainable approach to how we live our lives and build our communities.
