What appears to be a rebind into handsome dark full leather boards, with a banded spine and bright gold gilding to the spine and to the inner board edges, alongside marbled pastedowns and endpapers. The boards are subtly bowed but this does not affect the binding or page-turning. A little scuffing to the leather. The top page edges are gold gilded. A little handling and a tan to the rest of the textblock edges and the internal contents remain clean and pleasantly bright. A structurally sound copy.
