Circa 1910. Fair condition with no wrapper. Dark blue cloth, gilt title to spine. Large pictorial onlay to front. Decorated endpapers. 12 colour plates with tissue-paper guards. Numerous b/w text illustration. Top edge gilt. Covers are very worn and badly dampstained. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Name in ink to front pastedown. Inscription in ink to half title-page. Endpapers lightly browned. Front joint cracked between endpaper and half-title, showing webbing beneath. Some light fingering but contents generally clean.
