1845 2 volume edition. Half green leather over marbled boards, gilt titles on red labels to spines, ornate gilt decorations to spines, all edges marbled, marbled endpapers, purple silk page markers. [Uniform binding with Froissart s chronicles I also have for sale.] With colour title page and 102 b/w woodcut illustrations. Condition: Very good. Minor edgewear. Marbling to boards a little rubbed. The silk page markers are present and attached, although the one in volume 1 is broken off level with the bottom of the page. Aside from the faults mentioned, internally both volumes are generally clean and bright. Size: 9.5 x 7 inches / 24 x 18 cm. 640/552 pages. Combined weight: 2.8kg.
