Xii pp + 269 pages with two fold-out battle plans (as called for in plate list), one as the frontispiece is loose, both uncoloured, both have some browning at folds and small closed splits at one or two fold lines, but all complete, some light browning on some pages and a printers fault on several pages where the paper was printed on with a horizontal crease line that has in places been printed over, so NOT an issue with a later owner. The binding is 20th century half plain brown crushed morocco with marbled paper boards. Small octavo. 17.5 x 12 cm 7 x 4.5 inches. Note* There is an inscription in biro on the first free endpaper "T. F. Davis 1955" (Which may be the time the book was re-bound? Then an extended note "If found return to.
