Sub-Saharan Africa is home to a large number of Muslims. However, little is known about the sutuation of these Non-Arab Muslims of Africa. This book therefore attempts to highlight the sociopolitical situations of these Muslims within the last three decades. Muslims in general are peace loving people and only react when their rights are threatened as some of the chapters of this book revealed. It is therefore sad that events like that of September 11 have tarnished the image of Muslims. This work should be especially useful for academicians and students of religion and people who seek an understanding of the lives of Non-Arab Muslims in Africa.
