206p. A small hardcover book bound in the original full leather. Exterior heavily scuffed, but spine label is still legible. Owner's pencil notes on front and back endpapers. Top corners of front endpaper are worn; small brown stain in top margin of first several pages. All pages browned and foxed with age, but otherwise, text unmarked and binding tight. Good condition, considering its age. Classic early work on herbal medicine, originally issued in 1831 with an 1830 imprint. This is a later edition from 1832. Measures approx. 5.5" x 3.5".
