Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Mary Heine Pautsch is a retired reading specialist who lives in Rice Lake, WI with her husband Roger. She is the youngest of nine children and has experienced a lot of adventures with her siblings, especially her three brothers, Roy, Mike and Bruce. Vacation at the old cabin at Webb Lake, WI was the highlight of the summer for her family and cousins. The kids were allowed to run freely with little to no adult supervision. Cabin Candy opens a window to a simpler time during 1966 where imagination and reality melded into a week of magical memories. The time spent swimming, fishing, catching chipmunks and fighting over candy, are fondly remembered today.
