Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Robert Adley was a Conservative politician and railway enthusiast. He gained a love of trains after being given The Wonder Book of Trains at the tender age of three. He was heavily involved in the politics of British transport and remained passionate about the steam locomotives until his death in 1993.
