Gilt detailing to back strips. Each volume lacks a spine label. Loss of leather to back strip heads and tails, with significant loss of leather towards the tail of volume I back strip. Significant rubbing to boards, with losses to the leather. Volume I hinges strained, but firmly held. Bookplates to front pastedowns. Internally, bindings strained. Inscription to title pages.
