Little, Brown and Company, Boston, 1951. 3rd Edition, 1st Printing, 277 pps. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. Michael Mitchell did the jacket design. Worn goldtone letters on black cloth. The top end of the text block has darkened and has foxing; both the foredge and the bottom end is slightly foxed. Dustjacket paper has tanned, with the spine panel missing and slight tearing across the top and front flap crease; the inner flap has been clipped. Back of dj has 9 "reviews" of the book. Book itself is in crisp and excellent condition- no underlining, notations or anything else, although paper has slightly yellowed due to age. This only novel that Salinger wrote is a must have!.
