Volume 6 (of 8) of the classic standard edition of Middleton's Works. Bound in green cloth, but in less than Fair condition because of the condition of the spine. Book block solid with some interior separation beginning to front and rear covers. No markings to text, but some scattered foxing, and rubbing to the boards, with bumped/cracked corners, and dirt to top page ends. The spine - entitled "The Works of Middleton" / "Bullen" / "VI" - is creased, rubbed, with label-removal loss of green color in lower portion, plus a tiny hole. Still overall, a satisfactory 19th century reading copy of The Changeling (if not also for providing an attractive shelf presence). About 5.5 x 8.5 in (14 x 22 cm).
