A very scarce copy of this religious work by Christopher, Bishop of Gloucester and others. Collated complete. The work is composed of a series of charges and sermons published between 1776 and 1825, bound in one volume. They are as follows: 'A Charge delivered at the triennial visitation of the diocese of Glouster' by Christopher, Bishop of Gloucester (1825). 'A Sermon preached before the House of Commons' by William Jackson (1804). 'A Sermon preached before the Right Honoutable the House of Lords, in the abbey church of Westminster' by Richard, Lord Bishop of Worcester (1786). 'A Sermon preached at the Octagon Chapel, in the City of Bath, on the day the late Bishop of Worcester was buried' by the Reverend George Butt (1775). 'A Charge delivered to the clergy of the Diocese of London' by William, Lord Bishop of London (1814). In a half vellum binding. Externally, rubbed with some shelfwear and marks to boards.
