2 vol. gd. in 8°, de XX-386pp. (2ff. de prospectus) et 2ff. 432pp., ill. d'un frontispice et de 30 jolies eaux-fortes de Valentin Foulquier, dont 28 têtes de chapitre et 2 culs-de-lampe, pl. maroquin bordeaux à grain long, large encadrement de palettes dorées, de fleurons, de filets et ainsi que d'une roulette à froid sur les plats, dos lisse orné en long, encadrement intérieur de fleurons dorés, filets dorés et motifs à froid, doublure et gardes de soie brochée, doubles gardes, coupes guillochées, tr. dorées sur témoins, couv. conservées, sous étui à bord gainé. (E. Carayon). Belle édition tirée à 500 exemplaires, illustrée de 31 eaux-fortes originales de Valentin Foulquier (1822-1896). Vicaire, I, 459 "Bien que le titre porte 32 eaux-fortes, il n'y en a bien que 31. la 32e vignette est celle qui se trouve dans le prospectus-specimen. d'où il résulte que le prospectus doit nécessairement être joint au livre pour que ce dernier soit complet.
