Walk the streets of late 19th century Chicago with this album of images, published as a souvenir for the 1893 Columbian Exposition. Over two dozen pages of photographs capture a variety of natural scenes and urban environments from the Second City. Iconic city landmarks such as Lincoln Park, the Board of Trade, Union Stockyards, and the Water Works are all included. More mundane sights such as private residences, prominent retailers, and a variety of outdoor views are also included. The most impressive image is likely a two-page bird's eye view of the city, looking from out over Lake Michigan. Boards are moderately worn and chipped in the corners, and the majority of the contents have come loose (only 3 images remain affixed to the binding).
