It traces the origins of the parish from 1000 to the present, detailing the early churches, their relationship with the Abbey of San Pietro in Perugia and the Municipality of Assisi, and the construction of the current church in the 19th century. The book explores the administration and maintenance of the parish, the contributions of various parish priests, and modernization efforts. It also examines local secular and religious institutions, including the Infant Asylum, mutual aid societies, Catholic Action, and Christmas traditions, while providing descriptions of cemeteries, oratories, chapels, and religious artifacts in Petrignano.
