CHILD OF THE PROPHECY is the third book in Juliet Marillier's trilogy of the Sevenwaters clan - a family whose fortunes are bound into the lifeblood of Ireland, and whose fates may determine if the old magic will stay in this enchanted land. Set against the lush woods of ancient Ireland and culminating in an epic battle between the forces of good and evil, this is the conclusion of a mystical war that has been waging in the Celtic Isles for hundreds of years.

JULIET MARILLIER achieved international recognition with the publication of the first two award-winning novels in the Sevenwaters Trilogy, a historical fantasy set in Ireland and Britain in the ninth century, and loosely based on the fairy tale “The Six Swans”. Her other historical fantasy series include the Viking-inspired Light Isles duology and the Bridei Chronicles set in north Britain in the time of the Picts.
