Widecombe edition hardcover, quarter-bound in white boards with green textured boards, is in FAIR condition, having stains on front and back cover, and evidence of old waterstain on back cover (see photos); corners bumped and worn; book was originally published with uncut, deckled-edge pages, and some pages are still uncut; slight foxing to both endpaper sections; small stain on half-title page; very slight waviness to bottom of pages leading up to title page. One illustration: a frontispiece "Shipley Bridge" by Cecil Hunt. This is volume 18 ONLY from the Widecombe Edition set of Phillpott's Dartmoor novels, a set which originally comprised 20 volumes.
