No publisher, place or date. Perhaps the China Information Committee. China, late 1930s, early 1940s. Pamphlet. No wrappers, perhaps as issued. 84 pp. Presumably issued by the China Information Committee, this work provides a collection of short news briefs or articles published by the committee, providing news or updates on the Sino-Japanese War of 1937-1945. The committee published a journal, where these pieces probably came from. The China Information Committee was formed in 1937, and published English language propaganda for foreign audiences. The committee was controlled by Chiang Kai-Shek (see Burke Library Archives for previous information). This piece contains items on the war itself and various battles, news on a guerrilla school, missionary reports, "Japanese Head Hunters," etc. GOOD condition.
