A rare, original, full-colour poster of Mao Zhedong from the period of the Chinese Cultural Revolution. Portrait format: 83cm x 53cm.An oil painting designed and executed by unnamed members of the Navy Art Team workers collective.Published in April 1971. No. 8100.3105 (2) Priced at 0.14 yuan. Condition: near fine with fold marks and just one small nick at the top edge. Provenance: from a large private collection in Nanjing which was acquired some years ago through a family friend.
