The Vow was Never Forgotten. For centuries, the firstborn of the bloodline has paid the price, but the ancient Pact with the gods has turned cold. The time for whispers is over. The time for blood is now. Beneath the endless, icy forests of the North, Chosen follows Elise, last daughter of a family bound to a forgotten oath. Her people live under the shadow of the old faith, tied to a generational debt that has come due. When a storm of grim, broken magic descends - marked by shattered runes and whispered demands - Elise learns that her inheritance is not a gift but a burden that threatens the fragile world she knows. In this Dark Nordic Fantasy, every step is paid in sacrifice. Guided only by a watchful fox and the glow of a failing torch, she must confront the ancestors who forged the Pact and the silent figure waiting in the darkness to collect. The cost of fate is blood. Elise has one chance to break the cycle - but how do you defy a god when the sacrifice demanded is the last soul you can still save?
