Beschreibung
Charmingly illustrated novel by Edouard Estaunie, French novelist, and engineer. He was considered a man of letters and wrote of how a man s inner life is not necessarily reflected by his outer appearance. The illustrations are lovely watercolors done by Francoise de Marliave whose work spanned several media and several continents. The title loosely translates to Things to See . This is part of a collection of novels: Collection Francaise. Interestingly, the paper of at least one illustration has Henri Cyral (the editor) showing as a watermark. Very Good Condition: 8vo, 3/4 leather with marble boards and endpapers, heavily illustrated, wonderful heavy paper. Illustrations by Francoise de Marliave. Les Choses Voient . Edouard Estaunie. Paris: Collection Francaise. Henry Cyral, Editeur. 118, Boulevard Raspail. VI*. COLI1931BDEA. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers COLI1931BDEA
