Inhaltsangabe: This is the most famous, the most celebrated astrology book in the English language. It has been prized by students since its first publication in 1647. The horary astrology in these pages, in the hands of a master, is no mere parlor game. It is demanding & precise, combining science with art. Properly used, it will give answer to any well-defined question.

We are pleased to announce a new, modern edition of this great book. Book 1: An Introduction to Astrology has some of the most comprehensive descriptions of planets & signs ever penned. Book 2: The Resolution of All Manner of Questions & Demands, is the finest treatise on horary astrology ever written. With modern, easy-to-read typefaces and contemporary spelling, this edition restores Lilly’s original layouts, tables & marginalia, page for page. It includes his bibliography (some 228 titles) & index. Also included are a glossary of terms & both Lilly's original woodcut charts, and modern easy-to-read versions. This is Lilly’s great book, as Lilly himself knew it.

Über den Autor: William Lilly, 1602-1681, was known throughout England for his almanacs & forecasts (he predicted London’s Great Fire of 1666). He lived during the English Civil War & was a minor figure in it, giving astrologically-based advice to all sides, including Charles I himself. He was the most famous of a circle of great 17th century English astrologers. For more than 20 years, into his studio came the rich and poor, nobles & commoners, with problems great and small. He has influenced virtually every astrologer, from his day, to ours.
