This work was a successful and popular, extensive account of the events in Europe, with particular focus on France, England, and Spain.The present edition was published for 'La Societe de l'Histoire de France' by Simeon Luce.Complete with half titles. In uniform half calf bindings over paper covered boards, with five raised bands, gilt lettering to spine. Externally with light bumping and chipping to head and tail of spine and extremities of boards, back strip slightly rubbed with minor scuffing. Internally, firmly bound. Spotting scattered to leaves.
