Chur-S�chsischen M�nzgeschichte - Chur-Saxon Coin History. By Johann Friedrich Klotzsch and printed by Johann Christoph Stobel. 1779-80, 400 pp & 560 pp plus index, 7.75 x 4.75 , 16mo, rebound library cloth binding. Rebound copies in good condition, with minor rubbing and bumping of corners to boards. Hinges are tight and text blocks are securely bound. Ex-library from the Free Library of Philadelphia, with bookplates on the front pastedown, modern barcodes on the last flyleaf page, and small markings and stampings elsewhere. Pages are in good condition, with general age-related toning and minimal foxing. Small inscriptions on title pages, as well as small illustrations on each. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. An extremely rare complete set, bound well for preservation. Written by Johann Friedrich Klotzsch (1726-1789), a German historian, coin collector, and mining official (not to be confused with the botanist of the same name who was born in 1805).
