A fine copy, in a near fine dust jacket, of this elusive presentation of five of Churchill's most important speeches. The black cloth binding is clean and unworn, with strong gilt lettering to the spine. Everything is square and tight, with sharp unbumped edges and corners. Inside the contents are clean and bright with no ownership inscriptions or other markings of any kind. The dust jacket is unclipped ($1.95) with only the most minor edgewear. It is now protected in a removable mylar cover. From the jacket blurb: "Reading these best known and loved speeches of Citizen Churchill, [Churchill had just been accorded honorary US citizenship by JFK] we feel the tears and glory, the laughter and heroism, the desolate ruin and black despair that make up the senselessness of war".
