Book condition: fair+, very scarce, a clouded mystery indeed as there no indication as to what the author's initials stand for and the only glue to what the plot may be other than chapter headings such as The Brothers, A Midnight Tramp, A Night of Terror, Hallow E'en, In the Debtor's Prison and quite a few more, blue cloth boards feature elaborate gilt designs on front and spine and show scuffing to all edges, corners and spine head and tail with a white stain to upper back left, both hinges cracked and open with play, a few spots to the interior, overall very clean, binding firm, 393 pages followed by three pages of other books by publisher, 5 X 7.5 inches.
