B01N7U0Y0W No date, but circa 1995, L.L. Curnutte (Dittmer, Missouri), 8 1/2 x 11 inches tall paperbound in tan printed covers with a black cloth spine, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs, 200 pp. Mild soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers. Author's address label to final page of text. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this rare genealogy and local history. Not in OCLC. ~I~ Genealogy of the descendants of John Clutter, born about 1822 in Ohio or Virginia, who settled in Grundy County, Missouri about 1848. Clutter was a farmer and married Hannah McLey in September 1847 at Point Pleasant, Virginia. In Missouri, the couple had two children - Mary Virginia in 1848 and James Felix in 1851. In 1855 John Clutter received a land patent of 82 acres in what is now Sugar Creek Township, northeast of what is now called Gilman City, a town built in 1897 when the railroad went through Harrison County. Hannah died and John remarried in 1856, to Nancy A. Jordan (born in North Carolina in 1833). John and Nancy had six more children together. This work follows the progeny, and is loaded with captioned black-and-white photographs. Buchnummer des Verkäufers I-0171-7063
