Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: August is an 18 year old man born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He recently graduated Valedictorian and National Merit Finalist from Cathedral High School and is going to be a freshman this fall at the University of Southern California, where he received a full-tuition scholarship and is in the Thematic Option honors program. He plays rugby, teaches yoga, attempts to longboard, brands cattle and children and himself, makes short movies, sings bass 2, tries to hug as often as possible, takes his clothes off at visual poetry open mics, loves musicals, dresses in costumes a bit too often, was the grand master of the Chivalry Club, rocks the bandana, can make a mean grilled PB&J, spray paints, tries to escape the everyday, wishes he knew more of his mother's texas sayings, wears a lot of colorful clothing, is very touchy-feely, wants to be a hippie, swing dances, skanks, hardcore dances, raves, gyrates, thrusts, strips, and can shake his ass like nobody's business. He likes to think of himself as a jack-of-all-trades, or a renaissance man. In the future, he hopes to save the world.
