12mo. 3 volumes: 287, 266, and 263 pp. Paneled brown calf with gilt acorn embellishment to corners. 5 raised bands to spines, with gilt titling and decorative stamping. Dotted gilt board edges and turn-ins. Marbled endpapers with bookplate of Jacobus Cowan de Rosshall, Armigeri. Ex-libris stamp with initials "C.S.D." to verso ffeps. Spines and title pages dated 1723-1725, but this is a later printing. Bound by J. (John) Ramage & Co. (1836-1911) with small gilt binder's stamp. Cracking to hinges and few points in text, binding fragile but tight. Some scuffing to leather, esp at spines. Light dampstaining to prelims at bottom edge of all volumes, rest clean and sound.
