Containing "Sheep-Farmers and Drovers", "Convicts by a Practical Hand", "Wayside Thoughts of an Asophophilosopher" parts one, two and three, by D'arcy W. Thompson, "The Enterkin" by John Brown, "Penitentiaries and Reformatories", "Notes from Paris, or Why are Frenchmen and Englishmen Different", "Essays by and Old Man", and "The Influence of the Reformation of the Scottish Character" by James Anthony Froude. Rebound in a half calf binding. Externally, light rubbing to extremities, and loss to the spine label. Front hinge is very slightly strained.
