Set of seven stereoviews with Stephens Traveling Studio imprint on all but one mount. Stereoviews measure 3 ½ x 7 inches. No content on verso. Five of the seven stereoviews are titled in the negative. Stereoviews are titled "Escalante Pass" [likely in the Pahvant Mountain Range in central Utah], "Saltair Train, Unloading", "Temple Block, Salt Lake, Utah", "Falls, Jasper, Colo. 60ft", and "Brigham Young Monument, Salt Lake, Utah". Mounts have moderate soiling and wear; photographs have moderate soiling. Overall good condition. Stephens Traveling Studio is referenced in Mautz showing that they were "active circa 1905, location unknown" (Mautz p. 589). The two stereoviews without titles depict 1) Water flowing out of a pipe into barrels with a log cabin in the background and 2) Two men standing with shotguns in front of a tent and a wagon; a pup sits near the tent and there are rocky cliffs in the background. The stereoview of Escalante Pass, showing two wagons on a seldom used road and the view of the two men in front of the tent are the most interesting and unique. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 024512
