Wood III, bookseller. First edition of this nicely illustrated photographic souvenir of the 1893 Columbian Exposition, including many depicting the ethnic villages, and groups which acted as curiosities on the Midway Plaisance, including West Africans, Samoan singers, Syrians, Inuit, the Turkish bazaar tent, Ceylon tea house, and more. Rand McNally issued this in several formats, although this 226 pp. version was the most expansive.
