Press release detailing the news that an 'international exhibition devoted to kinetic sculpture will take place at the "Museu Universitario de Ciencias y Arte", Mexico City, during July and August, 1968', curated by Kineticism Press Director Willoughby Sharp. The information sheet claims this to be the 'first major group exhibition devoted to Kineticism in Latin America, and the first group exhibition to concentrate on the environmental aspects of kinetic sculpture', featuring names such as Yaacov Agam, Dan Flavin, Hans Haacke, Julio Le Parc, Les Levine, David Medalla, Robert Morris, Jesus Raphael Soto, Takis and Jean Tinguely, among others. The sculptor Mathias Goeritz was Artistic Advisor of the Olympic Committee, who states: 'Artists today are increasingly interested in our total environmental situation.
