Luigi Gonnelli & F. bookseller's ticket and a bookplate of Blundell's School Library are tipped in front pastdown, an inscription on the verso of the title page indicating "Author's copy." Limited to 750 copies, this is one of 50 copies on Fabriano paper. The most comprehensive bibliography of the Italian typographer Giambattista Bodoni (1740-1813), authored by Hugh Cecil Brooks, who was a partner in the Gonnelli firm from 1925 to 1928 (the mentioned ticket features the first Gonnelli's logo with letters GB for Gonnelli-Brooks).
