This is a 1653 1st edition facsimile copy of the classic fishing book, "THE COMPLEAT ANGLER - or, The Contemplative Man's Recreation" by Izaak Walton. 1966; Abercrombie & Fitch Library; New York. The book contains a few illustrations of fish, as well as a musical score. Smaller in size - the book measures 5 3/4" tall x 3 7/8" wide. Condition: Light soiling to the covers and spine. Sharp cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Light staining at the top edge of the text block. The un-numbered page preceding page 1 has a half-quarter sized stain at the outer edge. Some very light foxing to the end papers and pastedowns.
