Externally very smart, with volume I in excellent condition. Previous owners ink inscription to the front endpaper of vol I. Dustwrapper to vol I is generally smart with minor shelfwear to the extremities, light sunning to the spine and minor rubbing to joints. Small tear to the front of wrap, to tail, no more than 0.5cm. The dustwrapper to vol II is sound, with shelfwear to the extremities. Small closed tears to the head of the front and rear joints. Heavy sunning to the wrap, with small tide marks to the spine and the front of the wrap. Heavy offsetting internally to the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
