Chapter One

I am undertaking an enterprise which is without precedent and which, when finished will have no imitator. I want to show my fellowmen a man in all the truth of (nature) God, the almighty; and that man, he will be me.

Myself alone. I understand my heart and I know men, I am not made like anyone else I have seen. I dare to suppose that I am not made like anyone else who exists. If I am no better, at least I am different. Whether God did good or ill, in breaking the mould in which he formed me, is something that can only be decided after reading this work.

Let the trumpet of the Last Judgement sound when it will. I will come to present myself before the Supreme Judge with this book in my hand. I will say outloud: "this is what I have done, what I thought, what I have been. I have recounted good and bad with equal frankness. I have neither excluded anything bad, nor added anything good. If I have ever ever happened to use some irrelevant decoration, it has only ever been to fill a gap caused by a fault in my memory. I have put forward as true what I know to have been true, never what I know to have been false. Eternal Being, gather around me the numberless crowd of my fellows. Let them hear my confessions, let them groan at my baseness, let them blush at my distress. Let each of them in turn reveal his heart at the foot of Your Throne with the same sincerity. And then let a single one of them say to You, if he dare: "I am a better man than him"

The philosophies of Descartes and Kant to the contrary, through the I think we reach our own self in the presence of others, and the others are just as real to us as our own self. Thus, the man who becomes aware of himself through the "cogito" also perceives all others, and he perceives them as the condition of his own existence. He realizes that he can not be anything (in the sense that we say that someone is witty or nasty or jealous) unless others recognize it as such. In order to get any truth about myself, I must have contact with another person the other is indispensable to my own existence, as well as to my knowledge about myself. This being so, in discovering my inner being I discover the other person at the same time, like a freedom placed in front of me which thinks and wills only for or against me. Hence, let us at once announce the discovery of a world which we shall call intersubjectivity; this is the world in which man decides what he is and what others are.

Sometimes I wish I was somebody else and this sentiment has nothing to do with skin color but simply mentality. I have come to realize that we are living in a world where many of us are not in touch with reality. What is reality? It is all of your experiences that determine how things appear to you; "his world was shattered"; "we live in different worlds"; "for them demons were as much a part of reality as trees were"

the quality possessed by something that is real Reality, in everyday usage, means "the state of things as they actually exist". The term reality, in its widest sense, includes everything that is, To be involved or to have the audacity to marry a person because they have great physique, in our term because they are "sexy" or "good looking" shows that many of our fellow human-beings are really not in touch with reality. If a man marries a woman just because she happens to be sexy or she has a great body then that man should think about marrying almost every other woman. Take a look around almost every woman are in great shape, beautiful, and sexy. In addition, if a woman marries a man just because he happens to look good or he has a great body then that woman is a fool and fools are dangerous. Even myself I used to be in love with that sexy ness and I even married one and it took me nowhere except almost to the path of destruction. Every man needs a good woman as they say behind a good man there is always a good woman. Let's take our first black elected president Barack Obama he would not be where he is at today if it was not for his wife Michelle. The commander- in -chief did not marry his wife for her body, but God in his power chose her to be his life-long companion. Praise God. My research has shown that "usually when one meets a great man there is always a great woman behind him. Moreover, I urge every person especially our black and Hispanic males not to limit their search in finding a great mate. By limiting I mean one would be surprised that the person that God has chosen for you is of a different race, creed and or color. God will give you a woman with great super mentality that has your back and it would be natural. You will be so happy. As Rousseau said, "we will find happiness in being true to ourselves, but we live in society and a crucial part of ourselves is what we share with our fellow men". Many men and women would love to marry somebody from another race, but they are afraid because they wonder what their friends, parents, families, colleagues, co-workers would think. These men are not free. What is freedom? the condition of being free; the power to act or speak or think without externally imposed restraints. The ultimate freedom is to have your own free will. That is the ultimate moral law. One should marry an individual with a mentality that will elevate you from your current situation and status. Hence, do not limit your search whether it's ethnicity, color, creed because we are all God's children and he knows what best for us. Any man can get married or have a relationship, but a real marriage is when you do not have to work anything out. Things just work out naturally without you have to beat on that person or that individual has to call the police on your behalf. What is happiness? It is a state of well being characterized by emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. We are living in a world where many couples married or not are very unhappy, but they wind-up staying together in the relationship for many years, some until they die. Why? And how did they do it? Many of these people live for society. They do not want others to think that they are failures, divorcees, so they keep working it out. In fact they do not realize how much they have made their children suffer. A lot of these children become part of the special education program in their schools and teachers have to pay a great price just for that. Some of these children become suicidal. Some become the worst husbands and fathers themselves. In many of these marriages or relationships one of the partners would say to the other "I want to start seeing other people or sleep with other characters". Instead of getting out of the relationship many fools say...
