Small wall map, in good condition, with linen backing and rollers intact, staining at top and right sides. Fully colored by county. This map is a reissue, with many changes, of the 1829 edition of this map, complete with the text at the bottom. Some editions of this map did not have the text at the bottom. The text includes population figures, brief geographical descriptions, and a list of governors including Henry W. Dewards, elected in 1833. Thompson 87: "A reissue of the map of 1829. Newly added towns include Avon (1830), North Branford (1831) and Bethany (1832). The Farmington Canal is shown, but the first railroad has yet to appear.". Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers m00712
