Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Chris Adsit is the founder and Executive Director of Disciplemakers International. He came to Christ in 1970 as a student at Colorado State University through the min- istry of The Navigators. He has served in full-time Christian ministry since 1974, first with Campus Crusade for Christ (Athletes in Action, Disciplemakers International, and Cru Military). He and his wife Rahnella founded Branches of Valor in 2011, a ministry to service members, first responders, and their families who struggle with the effects of line-of-duty stress and trauma, including PTSD. In 2018, they merged with Reboot Combat Recovery, and continue to do research, writing, training, and discipling for those affected by trauma. Chris and Rahnella are empty-nesters in Eugene, Oregon, having successfully launched four kids into adulthood.
